Video: Israel targets Iranian TV building during live broadcast as war marches on

Iranian state television was attacked live on air by an Israeli missile, causing the broadcast to be interrupted.

Live footage showed an Iranian broadcaster speaking emotionally before a cracking sound was heard, the screen behind her turned black, and the broadcaster fled amid shouts from the audience.

Later, it was announced that Iranian TV had resumed broadcasting after being hit by an Israeli missile strike.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported an advisor to the commander of the Revolutionary Guards as saying that Iran had not yet used its missile capabilities strategically against Israel.

Iranian media also reported that Israeli aircraft targeted a military base west of Tehran on Monday, and air defenses were activated.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli Air Force controls the skies over the Iranian capital, Tehran, expressing his confidence in achieving victory.

Netanyahu added on Monday that Israel is on its way to achieving its two main goals in its battle with Iran: eliminating Iran’s nuclear and missile abilities.

He asserted that Israel is on the path to victory, and called on residents of the Iranian capital, Tehran, to evacuate their homes because as the Israeli Air Force will take “the necessary measures.”
